Rick Lorenzen has amassed a spectacular collection of vintage automobiles and is opening it up to the public. The occasion will also mark the opening of the new 10,000 square foot wing of the museum dedicated to racing in Long Beach. It will include drag boat racing from the Marina, the Toyota Grand Prix road racing in downtown Long Beach and, of course, drag racing at Lions Drag Strip. Many dragsters that participated in drag racing at Lions will be there performing simulated push starts and cackling their fuel burning engines for the assembled crowd.
